C.O.M.E.T.
C.O.M.E.T. is the second-generation rover created by our team for the European Rover Challenge. Designed for the remote operation in challenging, simulated Martian environments, the rover features a robotic arm, live video feed and modular control systems.
The software architecture is based on ROS 2 and Python, with a custom web interface built with the use of roslibjs and Next.js. Such a setup allows a real-time control and telemetry monitoring directly through a browser from anywhere in the world.
Our rover is built with flexibility in mind — both in hardware and software — making it easy to expand and adapt for various tasks and future competitions.
